John Eisen, REFP has been elected President of the newly-formed Montana Chapter of the Pacific Northwest Region of the Council of Educational Facilities Planners, International (CEFPI). Eisen holds the distinction of Recognized Educational Facility Planner from CEFPI. His involvement with the organization began prior to formation of the new Chapter, serving most recently as Montana’s representative to the Pacific Northwest Region Board.

Visitors to the Homesteader Park in Powell, Wyoming will see construction in process. The newly designed park and rest area will feature new restroom facilities, a patio plaza, picnic shelters, and improved parking for RVs and large vehicles. Partnering with the City of Powell and JGA on this project are Carl Thuesen, ASLA for landscape architecture and CK Construction Corporation. Estimated completion is in the fall of 2010.

JGA contratulates Glendive Medical Center on the Grand Opening of the new surgical suite and main entry to the healthcare facility. This project is part of a 3-phase expansion and renovation which also included new administrative offices, an addition to the long-term care unit. The ribbon-cutting for the new entry was part of a community celebration held on June 10, 2010. JGA is proud to have partnered with GMC in this endeavor. GMC patients and staff and the entire community have a facility that will serve them well into the future.
